In South Africa 4,6% of the population are fully vaccinated and 9,8% have had at least 1 dose. The numbers for the country as a whole for yesterday has not been updated in the Johns Hopkins database yet, so we look at some of the individual provinces instead.
In the Western Cape cases are still rising.
In KwaZulu-Natal cases and deaths are rising.
In Gauteng, cases are still falling sharply.

In Western Europe, cases look like it might have peaked now but deaths are still very slowly trending up. In the EU 48,2% of the population are fully vaccinated and 58,3% have had at least 1 dose. The EU and Western Europe are not the same but there is a large overlap between them so I think it is useful to quote EU vaccinations to provide context for this graph.
In the UK cases were rising sharply but looks like it might have peaked now while deaths are still slowly trending up. 56,3% of the population are fully vaccinated and 69,9% have had at least 1 dose.
In the US cases are trending up again and we are seeing an up-tick in deaths as well. 49,3% of the population are fully vaccinated and 57,1% have had at least 1 dose.
In Brazil, cases and deaths are trending down. 18,5% of the population are fully vaccinated and 48,3% have had at least 1 dose.
In Israel, cases and deaths are almost down to nothing now although cases have started trending upwards again. 59,0% of the population are fully vaccinated and 63,8% have had at least 1 dose.
In Indonesia, cases look like it might have peaked now but deaths are still rising sharply. 7,3% of the population are fully vaccinated and 17,3% have had at least 1 dose.
In Thailand, cases and deaths have been rising sharply recently. 5,3% of the population are fully vaccinated and 18,3% have had at least 1 dose.
In Burma, cases and deaths were rising very sharply although it looks like cases might have peaked now. No vaccination data is available for Burma.
In Cuba, cases and deaths have been rising sharply recently. 30,9% of the population have had at least 1 dose.
In Chile, cases and deaths are trending down now. 63,2% of the population are fully vaccinated and 72,1% have had at least 1 dose.
In Malaysia, cases and deaths are trending up sharply again. 18,1% of the population are fully vaccinated and 38,3% have had at least 1 dose.
