In Western Europe, cases seem to have peaked but deaths are still trending up. In the EU 72,1% of the population are fully vaccinated and 75,2% have had at least 1 dose. 45,7% of the population has had a booster shot. The EU and Western Europe are not the same but there is a large overlap between them so I think it is useful to quote EU vaccinations to provide context for this graph.
In the UK cases are trending down but deaths are still flat (if we ignore any one-off spikes). 72,4% of the population are fully vaccinated and 78,2% have had at least 1 dose. 55,9% of the population has had a booster shot.
In the US cases are trending down now while deaths are still slowly trending up. 63,5% of the population are fully vaccinated and 74,9% have had at least 1 dose. 26,8% of the population has had a booster shot.
In Israel, cases are trending down but deaths are still trending up. 70,1% of the population are fully vaccinated, 73,1% have had at least 1 dose and 55,4% have had a booster shot.
In Australia cases and deaths are trending down now. 78,9% of the population are fully vaccinated, 84,9% have had at least 1 dose and 34,8% have had a booster shot.
In Denmark, all Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted from February 2022. 81,3% of the population are fully vaccinated, 83,2% have had at least 1 dose and 61,5% have had a booster shot.
Globally, cases are trending down now and deaths seem to have peaked as well. More than 10.2 billion doses of vaccine have been administered—130 shots for every 100 people worldwide.
