In Western Europe, cases are starting to trend up again but deaths are still flat. In the EU 73,1% of the population are fully vaccinated and 75,7% have had at least 1 dose. 49,2% of the population has had a booster shot. The EU and Western Europe are not the same but there is a large overlap between them so I think it is useful to quote EU vaccinations to provide context for this graph.
In the UK cases are starting to trend up again but deaths are still trending down. 73,2% of the population are fully vaccinated and 78,5% have had at least 1 dose. 57,3% of the population has had a booster shot.
In the US cases and deaths are trending down now. 64,5% of the population are fully vaccinated and 75,8% have had at least 1 dose. 28,4% of the population has had a booster shot.
In Israel, cases and deaths are trending down now. 72,9% of the population are fully vaccinated, 76,5% have had at least 1 dose and 56,4% have had a booster shot.
In Hong Kong there has been a sharp rise in cases and deaths recently although cases have peaked and are trending down now. 71,5% of the population are fully vaccinated, 84,9% have had at least 1 dose and 26,8% have had a booster shot.
In Denmark, all Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted from February 2022 (day 740). 81,4% of the population are fully vaccinated, 83,2% have had at least 1 dose and 61,8% have had a booster shot.
Globally, cases and deaths are trending down now. More than 10.9 billion doses of vaccine have been administered—139 shots for every 100 people worldwide.
